After earning her BA, PhD, and MD from the University of Chicago, she built a distinguished career in medical research and cancer care. Following her retirement, she turned her focus to writing, creating stories that inspire curiosity, imagination, and adventure. Her debut children’s book, Harry and the Dragons, combines magical fantasy, friendship, and exciting quests to captivate young readers.
