Dr. Carol Westbrook has spent her life exploring new ideas and making meaningful discoveries. Born in Chicago, she attended the University of Chicago, earning degrees in Biochemistry and Medicine. Her career as a medical oncologist combined scientific research with compassionate patient care, enabling her to make important contributions to genetics and disease research.

After retiring in 2017, Dr. Westbrook began a new chapter centered on creativity and storytelling. Through her publishing company, Little Plum Press, she has written and published several books while continuing to share her thoughts through articles and her personal blog.
